Revenue Share Policy

At Madarsa, we value the contributions of our instructors and aim to provide a fair and transparent revenue-sharing model. This policy outlines how instructors earn revenue from courses and mentorship sessions on Madarsa.

1. Revenue Share Rates

1.1 Course Sales

When a student purchases a course, the instructor receives a share of the net revenue after deducting applicable fees (payment processing, taxes, and administrative costs).

1.2 Mentorship Sessions

For 1:1 mentorship sessions booked through the platform:

2. Revenue Calculation

2.1 Net Revenue

Net revenue is the gross amount received from students, less applicable taxes (e.g., GST), payment processing fees, and any deductions such as refunds or chargebacks.

2.2 Payment Processing Fees

Payment processing fees vary by payment method and are deducted before calculating the instructor’s share.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payout Schedule

Instructor earnings are calculated monthly and paid out within 30 days after the end of the month in which the revenue was earned.

3.2 Minimum Threshold

Instructors must have a minimum earnings balance of ₹1,000 (INR) to receive a payout. If the threshold is not met, earnings roll over to the next month.

3.3 Payment Methods

Payments are made via direct bank transfer or UPI. Instructors can configure their preferred payment method in their account settings.

4. Refunds and Chargebacks

If a student receives a refund for a mentorship session, the corresponding instructor earnings will be adjusted. In the event of a chargeback, the amount plus any associated fees will be deducted from future earnings.

5. Promotions and Discounts

Madarsa may run promotions at its discretion. When a course is sold at a discounted price, the instructor’s share is calculated on the actual net revenue received after applying the discount.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Instructors will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
